40 TON SANDSTONE BOULDER DEPOSITED IN FRONT YARD OF HOME ALONG SAN YSIDRO RIVER, MONTECITO CA
The mud, ash, boulder mix was 7' high on January 9 2018, when 24 people lost their lives in the debris flow.
This boulder was one of the largest found and was left in place as a reminder.
And also because it was too large to move. Several like this were on the highway and cal trans had to drill and dynamite them to move.
